Varsity Baseball Coach Named

Berg, who has coached at US for the past four seasons, was the former head JV and assistant varsity baseball coach at Hawken School. He played football and baseball for the College of Wooster where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in communications with a minor in education. Berg is a graduate of Shaker Heights High School where he played football, hockey and baseball.

 

In making the announcement, Athletic Director John Ptacek, said, “Mike has been a real asset to our coaching team at US and we are delighted that he will now lead our baseball program. His experience as both a coach and player will serve the team well in the years ahead.”
