University School presents Heaven Can Wait, Friday and Saturday, November 14 and 15, at 7:30 p.m., in Gund Auditorium at the Hunting Valley Campus (2785 SOM Center Road), 44022.
Part murder mystery and part love story, Heaven Can Wait is the story of Joe Pendleton, a boxer in the 1930's, who is mistakenly taken to heaven by an eager new angel who is trying to save him pain when he sees that the plane he is piloting is going down. In heaven, records indicate that Joe would not have crashed, and his time was not up for another sixty years. Returning him to earth, they find that his body has been cremated, and they must search for a new body for Joe and ultimately a new life.
Tickets are $6.00 students, $10.00 adults, and $15.00 patrons. Tickets may be reserved by calling (216) 831-2200 or purchased at the door.
