US Stages "My Favorite Year"

Escape to the charming nostalgia of 1950s America and the magic of television.
Directed by Carol Jaffee Pribble, University School's director of theater, My Favorite Year is set in the wonderful world of 1950s television and follows the story of Benjy Stone, an aspiring writer who has landed his dream job writing for the hottest comedy show on the air. Full of vibrant characters and amusing hijinks, along with music and lyrics by Ahrens and Flaherty, My Favorite Year is sure to entertain and delight the whole family.

Tickets are $6.00 students, $10.00 adults, and $15.00 patrons. Tickets may be reserved by calling (216) 831-2200 or purchased at the door.  

There are a total of 27 cast members, with lead roles played by University School students including sophomore Adam Gurary as Benjy Stone, junior Geoffrey James as Alan Swann, senior Bo Hudy as King Kaiser, junior Yefe Soriano as Rookie Carroca, sophomore Joey Thornton as Herb Lee, senior Chuck Eiben as Sy Benson, junior Charlie Newell as Leo, and sophomore Max Clifford as Uncle Morty.

Female leads will be played by Halle Fromson, Christina Ciorani, and Caitlin Cronin.

Daniel Singer is the music director. Steve Masley is the technical director.
