US Athlete Signs Letter of Intent

University School lacrosse player Tommy Nook officially signed a national letter of intent to pursue athletics at Boston University, which competes in NCAA athletics at the Division I level.

Tommy finished the 2016 season leading all midfielders in goals (25) and ranking second on the team in assists (46). He was nominated for All-American, was First Team All-Region, and Third Team All-State.

“Tommy is one of the most talented lacrosse players I’ve had the honor of coaching,” said varsity lacrosse coach Hans Rydquist. “He is a multisport athlete, and works extremely hard both in the classroom and on the athletic fields. Tommy is a gifted scorer, but the best part of Tommy’s game is his unselfish play and his attitude. He is a natural leader, and is always looking to get his teammates involved in the offense and works hard to make those players around him better. “

Congratulations and best of luck to Tommy!
