Stephen S. Murray became University School’s seventh headmaster in the fall of 2005. Prior to joining US, Mr. Murray was assistant headmaster and academic dean at Deerfield Academy. He joined Deerfield in 1990 where he served as Dean of Students, taught French, and coached varsity water polo. He earned his master’s degree in French literature and in education at Harvard University. Mr. Murray received his bachelor’s degree in French and political science from Williams College. In addition to his headmaster responsibilities, Mr. Murray teaches French at the Upper School.

Prior to joining US in 2004 as Director of Development, Donald C. Molten was a general partner with Linsalata Capital Partners. Before that he served as a vice president of Key Equity Capital and its predecessor, Society Venture Capital. He received his bachelor's degree in economics from Denison University and his master's degree in finance from Indiana University. He is a graduate of the Advanced Executive Program at Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Jonathan Bridge came to US in 2007 from Denison University where he served as Senior Development Officer in the Office of Major and Planned Giving. He was also Director of the Annual Fund at Denison. Mr. Bridge received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Denison University where he majored in fine arts. He has studied financial planning and economics at the University of Tulsa, and spent a year at The Institute for Architecture and Urban Studies in New York City.

Prior to joining US in 1999, David J. Wright served as chief financial officer of the Ohio Turnpike Commission and as vice president of administration and chief financial officer at Lake Erie College. A certified public accountant, Mr. Wright received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and math/computer science from Muskingum College. Mr. Wright is responsible for the finances and day-to-day administrative operations of University School. He also coaches eighth grade

Clark Wight most recently held the position of headmaster of the preparatory division (Kindergarten through grade 7) of Christ Church Grammar School in Perth, Australia.Mr. Wight holds a master’s degree in education from Edith Cowan University in Perth, Australia. He is a graduate of the Gilman School in Baltimore and of Washington and Lee University in Virginia, where he majored in East Asian Studies. He served for four years at the Hale School in Perth, Australia, where he was Deputy Headmaster of the Junior School and worked as a teacher. Prior to that, he was a class teacher for grades one through four at the Gilman School.

Gail Stein has been with University School since 1994. During that time she has served as a fourth grade teacher, a fifth grade teacher and team leader, a middle school tennis coach, and a director of math enrichment opportunities. Mrs. Stein received her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Emory University and her Master’s degree in Education from John Carroll University.
