The University School Parents' Association
Our parents are an integral part of the school community and play a key role in enhancing life here at US. The University School Parents' Association (USPA) is made up of parent representatives from each class at the Shaker and Hunting Valley Campuses. The USPA utilizes the talents and enthusiasm of parents to assist teachers and staff and carry out a number of events each year. Meetings of the USPA are open to all parents and provide opportunities to discuss the school's programs, general issues related to parenting and raising boys, or current topics of interest.
Volunteer Opportunities
At the Shaker Campus (K-8), parents provide invaluable support to teachers and sponsors at the various grade levels with classroom projects and field trips. USPA volunteers help organize and run school-wide activities and staff the snack cart and Tower Trading Post, which sells clothing, book bags and other items. At the Hunting Valley Campus (9-12), parent volunteers help to organize many school functions including graduation, faculty/staff appreciation events, and the Junior/Senior after prom. Parent volunteers also staff The Prep Shop,which sells apparel and items sporting the US logo and colors. |
