US Comes out on Top in the Battle of the Undefeated

The Preppers felt the pressure and were not patient with the ball. US played better in the second quarter, Brandon hit three critical 3 pointers giving us a 5 point lead at the half. The battle continued in the third quarter with US leading 28-22 after. Lakeside turned up the defensive intensity in the 4th quarter and got to within 1 point with less than a minute to go. Brad hit 4 clutch free throws, while the crowd went crazy, to secure the victory. It was a great test for the boys and they learned a lot from the experience.

Brandon led US with 14 points, 2 steals and 3 rebounds. Brad had 8 points and 2 assists. Connor, Craig and Jack all added 4 points. Max did not score but pulled down 7 rebounds. Ben added 2 points and had 6 rebounds.

US, now 7-0, faces Madison at home at 4:15 on Monday.
