We are delighted that you are interested in University School’s REACH Summer Program.

Eligibility for admission into REACH extends to African American boys currently in the 5th grade. The admissions process is competitive. Applicants should have strong academic records (B average required), high academic aspirations, and an eagerness to embrace new experiences. Students chosen for the program enter at the end of their 5th grade year and remain enrolled for three consecutive summers.

Students are enrolled under the following conditions, which become the obligations of the students' parents or guardians and the students themselves:

  1. Completion of the Application for Admission and all attached enrollment forms.
  2. Perfect attendance during the summer REACH Program.
  3. Attendance at follow-up REACH activities during the school year.
  4. Timely submission of grade reports (B average required) from current school.
