Grades 1-3 Checklist


STEP 1 - ONLINE APPLICATION
To begin the application process, create an online account by visiting www.us.edu/apply.  Once you initiate the process, you can review and update the application as many times as you wish before submitting it to us.

STEP 2 - STUDENT VISIT & PARENT MEETING
 Schedule a visit for your son, a tour of the campus, and a parent meeting with K-4 Director of Admission Meagan Salata. The student visit will include a classroom visit and an academic assessment.  Please email Gina Wiandt gwiandt@us.edu or call 216.371.6806 to schedule an appointment.

STEP 3 - FILE APPLICATION MATERIALS
Deadline:  Friday, February 16, 2018
  1. SCHOOL REPORT FORM: Fill out the "Authorization for Release of Records" portion of the "School Report Form."  Your son’s school will complete the form and mail it directly to University School.  
  2. TEACHER RECOMMENDATION FORM: Parents should submit the form to their son’s current teacher. The teacher will complete the form and mail it directly to University School.  

OPTIONAL - FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION
Deadline:  Friday, February 16, 2018
Financial aid awards at University School are based on need.  Our budget is finite, so it is important to apply as soon as possible.  Apply online at sss.nais.org/parents
