Psychologist and renowned author Robert Evans has concrete strategies for raising considerate and capable kids. Dr. Evans speaks in a straight, common-sense way that avoids the usual clichés, and, with wit and humor, helps parents recognize their strengths, rethink their responsibilities, and concentrate on strategies they can actually apply.

The executive director of The Human Relations Service in Wellesley, Massachusetts, Dr. Evans is a former high school and pre-school teacher, and for many years was a child and family therapist. He has consulted in more than 1,700 schools throughout the U.S. and internationally.
