8th Grader Researches Advanced Magnetic Properties

Our newest Junior Research Fellow is eighth-grader, Carl Cort. Carl presented his research entitled Advanced Magnetic Properties in two parts: first, he explained the concepts of magnetism and superconductivity to the middle school, then he performed a live demonstration on magnetism in the STEAMworks Room.

Carl's knowledge of these topics is deep, and he shared a plethora of detailed information with the middle school audience. He was poised and confident throughout his two events, and everyone left the experience with a feeling of great respect for his work. We are proud to call him a Junior Research Fellow!
