LATIN AWARDS:
Twelve US students earned a summa cum laude designation and received Gold Medals and seventeen US students earned a maxima cum laude designation and received Silver Medals in the 2018 National Latin Exam. The exam was taken by 150,000 students in the United States and around the world.
Gold Medal recipients: Warren Coleman '18, Connor Merritt '18, Isaiah Paik '18, Robert Hegler '19, Ethan Banks '19, Vincent Chen '21, James Keherly '20, Henry Massey '20, Caleb Peters '19, Peter Bambakidis '21, Correy Zemon '21, and Alex Niederer '20, who achieved a perfect score!

For The Classical Association of the Middle West and South Latin Translation Contest, a certificate of Commendation goes to Tyler Fertel '19 and Tommy Coyne '19. Alex Niederer '20 reached the top 3% of his category and won a book award. Vincent Chen '21 was in the top 2% of his category and won a cash prize.
SPANISH AWARDS:
Fifty US students received awards in the National Spanish Exam, including 10 students who scored at or above the 95th percentile nationally. One US student, Rohan Krishnamurthi '21, earned 1st place in the state of Ohio!
Students who received Premio de Oro (Gold Awards) were George Nageeb '18, Will Zhang '19, Kiran Krishnamurthi '19, Prajwal Guruprasad '20, Reed Chen '19, Ryan Rackley '20, Rohan Krishnamurthi '21, Ryan Cvelbar '19, Samuel Riad '21, and Krish Malte '21.
GREEK AWARDS:
Five US students received National Greek Exam honors. High Honors Awards were earned by Griffin Oriti '18 and Clark Austin '18. Honors Awards were earned by Austin Bruck '19, Dylan Siegler '19, and Sam Poulos '18.
