Faculty & Staff Awards

Congratulations to US faculty and staff who received awards at our final school assemblies!

Mr. Mitch Strachan, Upper School mathematics chair, and Mrs. Brooke Littman, middle school art teacher and Grade 7 dean, received Seelbach Faculty Fellowships, given to a teacher at each campus who is generous of spirit, encouraging of all learners, and immersed in school life.

Dr. Matthew Foulds, Upper School history teacher and US News advisor since 2016, and Mrs. Chelsea Bobnar, Grade 1 associate teacher since 2014, received Ingersoll Awards, given to a teacher at each campus who demonstrates a level of excellence in the early years of his or her career at US.

Ms. Deborah Sullivan, Hunting Valley food services staff member since 1988, received the inaugural Kapadia Service Staff Award for her cheerful and tireless dedication to University School.

US Alumni Association President Scott Seelbach ‘93 presented the Alumni Faculty Fellowship Award to Mr. Robert Farrell, Grade 5 science teacher and LEGO Robotics coach. The award is given by the Alumni Council to honor and reward an outstanding teacher who has contributed significantly to the quality of the Shaker Campus.
