Faculty Teaching & Learning Institute

More than 60 US faculty members shared their expertise and learned from one another at the inaugural Teaching and Learning Institute, a unique, one-day professional development event held at the Hunting Valley campus in August. This meaningful day of courses and workshops showcased our teachers who are leaders in their fields.

"Organized by Rebecca Simpson, faculty and staff members attended workshops on such topics as “How to Write Code,” “Anxiety in the Classroom,” “Partnering with Our City,” “How Boys Learn,” and “Cultivating a Learning Disposition.”  In the rush of the school year faculty members are immersed in the life of the school, and in this institute teachers had the time to connect with each other, share ideas, explore approaches, and lift our educational program." -Dr. Bill O'Neil, Dr. William O'Neil, Associate Headmaster & Academic Dean K-12
