Forty+ US boys and teachers shaved their heads to raise funds for childhood cancer in The St. Baldrick's Foundation Brave the Shave event on Friday. This year, US's seventh year participating, the boys raised $54,460 (and counting), bringing the school grand total to $464,950! It was an exciting event for the shavees, volunteers, and donors. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-powered charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
