Junior Research Fellow Studies Sleep

Junior Research Fellow Liam Isakov ‘24 presented "Sleep: What's Getting in the Way?" to an auditorium of his peers last week. Liam spent the summer with Dr. Jyoti Krishna, Director of Pediatric Sleep Medicine at Akron Children's Hosptial, learning about the complex, active process of sleep.

Among the topics Liam presented were melatonin production in adolescents, REM and non-REM sleep, dreams, and sleep disorders.
