2021 8th Grade Speaking Contest

Congratulations to all of the finalists of the 113th Annual 8th Grade Speaking Contest! Aidan Krishnaney '25 won first place for his speech, “Teaching to Tackle Transphobia," and Peter Watkins '25 (not pictured) received second place for his speech, “Andrew Jackson: Remembered, Not Honored.” Finalists Vincent Breckner '25, Kingsten Lin '25, and Ryan Wang '25 also delivered excellent speeches!

Thank you to this year's judges: Toussaint Miller '21, 109th University School Eighth Grade Speaking Contest winner, Ms. Brooke Siegler, a two-time state qualifier in Public Forum debate, and Humzah Quereshy '13, a medical student at CWRU School of Medicine.
