Advanced photography senior Caleb Ford's powerful image, "Agony, 1927-2020" was selected as a Top 25 winner at this year's Governor's Youth Art Awards!
Three students win state awards across three categories: Joey Cervino ’22 in Sculpture for NiceDovetail Box, Caleb Ford ‘21 in Photography for Maple Syrup, and Jack Freer '22 in Drawing for Allison Janney.
Seven artworks were awarded as regional winners and were exhibited at the state finals, including:

The Ohio Governor's Youth Art Exhibition, now in its fifty-first year, is dedicated to the educational and artistic advancement of our talented young people in the state of Ohio. From the 10,000 regional entries from the 15 regions, approximately 2,500 are selected to enter the state judging. State jurors then select 300 for the actual exhibition, with only 25 of the 300 chosen to receive the Governor's Award of Excellence.
