Sophomore Earns Bronze Medal for Tumor Research

Anish Ganesh '19 earned a bronze medal for his research investigating the synergistic activity of CDK5 and TGF-Beta inhibitors in pediatric solid tumors. Anish was invited to present his work at The International Sustainable World (Engineering Energy Environment) Project olympiad where he joined his peers from approximately 60 countries, including the United States, in Houston, Texas, last week.

I-SWEEEP draws hundreds of the brightest STEM-focused students in the world together who are investigating topics such as renewable energy, sustainable development, and medical breakthroughs.
 I-SWEEEP challenges students to tackle some of the world’s most pressing needs and invites them to compete with projects exploring topics such as renewable energy, sustainable development, and medical breakthroughs.
