Faculty Awards & Fellowships

Congratulations to faculty members Enrique de la Mata, Jason Dyke, Lorece Stanley, Rebecca Simpson, and Lauren Calig!

Enrique de la Mata, Upper School art teacher and coach, received the Seelbach Faculty Fellowship for his generosity of spirit and encouragement of all learners and his immersion in the life of the school. 

Jason Dyke, Upper School science teacher and coach, received the Ingersoll Award, given to a teacher who demonstrates a level of excellence in the early years of his career at US.

Alumni Council Vice President Scott Seelbach ‘93 presented the Alumni Faculty Fellowship Award to Lorece Stanley, English 7-8 teacher, who lives the mission of the school each day by knowing and loving all those around her and because she expertly shares her craft and subject area. 

Rebecca Simpson, Grade 2 teacher, received the Ingersoll Award, which recognizes and supports outstanding faculty in the early stages of their tenure who show unusual promise and have demonstrated a desire to contribute significantly to campus life.


Lauren Calig, Learning Specialist K-5 and Coordinator for Equity and Inclusion K-8, received the Seelbach Faculty Fellowship for her passion, enthusiasm, and energy, and because she is a champion and advocate for all, especially to those who need a just, consistent presence in their lives.
