District Science Fair Contest

Eight US boys scored Superior rankings at the district Science Fair and will be presenting their projects at the state contest in Columbus in May: junior Will Spencer and Bryan Rego; sophomore John-Shaw Moazami, Neel Agarwal, Parker Ernst, and Nikita Davidenko; freshman Sohum Kapadia; and eighth grader Leo Sherwood. US had 9 upper and 3 middle school boys compete at districts, held at the University of Akron.

Neel Agarwal won 2nd Place in the Mathematics and Computational Biology Division and Bryan Rego won 2nd Place in the Polymer Science Division. Special prizes were awarded to Parker Ernst from the Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers ($250) and Byran Rego from the Northeastern Ohio Water Environmental Association ($100).
