Brian Perry ‘89 just completed his sixteenth season as varsity swim coach. In addition to coaching the US team to the 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012 state championships, he has coached more than 40 All-American  swimmers. In 2009, he was awarded the Ohio High School Athletic Association Sportsmanship Ethics and Integrity Award, the highest honor bestowed on high school coaches in the state. Coach Perry has served as Assistant Varsity Tennis Coach. When he is not on the pool deck or out on the tennis court, Coach Perry teaches mathematics and law at University School. He earned his BA from DePauw University where he was an All-American swimmer, his law degree from Indiana University, and his master’s degree in education from Ursuline College. “Swimming teaches students lifelong skills about dedication and hard work,” he said.
