Merit Awards

Merit awards encourage the best and brightest boys in the area to join our community. Students with the highest marks and top scores will be considered. University School recognizes those boys who have distinguished themselves as outstanding scholars and citizens.

THE SELECTION PROCESS

Students will be chosen to apply based on standardized test scores (the Independent School Entrance Exam or the Secondary School Admission Test) and past academic achievements.

MAINTAINING AWARDS

Students must maintain a high academic average, display excellent citizenship, and maintain a strong investment in the life of the school in order to continue to receive the award during their four years of high school.
