Ways to Give

All Gifts Count! Every Gift Matters!

Dear Members of the University School Community,

Building on the tremendous momentum we have achieved, and the extraordinary generosity of our alumni, parents, and friends, Lead & Serve: The Campaign for University School will propel University School toward its most ambitious aspirations for today and for generations to come.

As a comprehensive campaign, Lead & Serve seeks to engage every member of the University School community. We invite all to participate through continued support of the Annual Fund and, when possible, add a gift that strengthens our endowment, enhances our facilities, or advances special initiatives that expand opportunities for our boys and teachers alike.

Our history of remarkable philanthropy has helped shape University School into one of the nation’s leading boys’ schools. Lead & Serve continues this proud tradition by ensuring we can attract and retain exceptional faculty, support outstanding candidates for admission, and build and maintain inspiring spaces in which to learn and play.  All of this is in service to enabling students to reach their fullest potential.

This is a defining moment in the history of US. We invite you to join us in leading & serving and continuing the legacy of leadership distinguishes our school community.

With gratitude and best wishes,

Capital & Endowment Gifts

Through the Lead & Serve Campaign, University School continues to invest in its future. Over the past two decades, capital gifts have transformed both the Hunting Valley and Shaker campuses—with much more on the way. Endowment gifts provide a perpetual source of support for priorities such as faculty excellence and financial aid. Today, US’s endowment totals more than $150 million (subject to market fluctuation) and generates vital annual revenue for the school. Gifts to these areas begin at $100,000.

The Annual Fund

Gifts to the Annual Fund enhance the experiences of US students by supporting our teachers and ensuring the accessibility of a US education. As part of the Lead & Serve Campaign, the Annual Fund continues to strengthen the foundation of all we do to sustain excellence. This year’s theme, Lead & Inspire, reflects the spirit of our community and our shared commitment to shaping the next generation of leaders. Our goal for the year is $3.85 million.
