As the Director of Product Design at littleBits, Krystal Persaud explores how littleBits, a platform of easy-to-use electronic building blocks, is designing unique learning experiences that draw on principles from the Maker Movement, STEM/STEAM and ambush learning. Through this framework, the company aims to empower students with creative confidence, technological literacy, and lifelong learning skills to prepare them for the 21st century and beyond.

A graduate of the Georgia Tech School of Industrial Design, Krystal is also the founder and managing member of the art & design collective Grouphug and teaches a course on product development processes & materials at the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
