Creative Writing Teams Finish Strong

On Thursday, May 11 the Upper School JustWriteOhio team of creative writers traveled to the University of Findlay to compete in the JustWriteOhio state tournament. The Division I team of Ian Broihier '26, Anshul Sharma '26, Tejas Rajagopalan '26, Peter Watkins '25, Thomas Malbasa '26, and Andrew Malbasa '26 finished 9th of 38 teams, while the Division II team of Laurence Myers-Bailey '23, Jay Lewis '23, Braedon Olsen '23, Connor Piero '23, Emory Geho '23, and Max Halberstam '24 finished 5th of 37 teams. Braedon Olsen, Ian Broihier, and Thomas Malbasa also earned recognition for first-place stories that will be included in the JustWriteOhio annual anthology.
