Cum Laude Inductees

University School recently inducted 22 seniors into the National Cum Laude Society at a special morning assembly at the Hunting Valley Campus.

Founded in 1906, the Cum Laude Society values qualities of excellence, justice, and honor and recognizes outstanding scholastic achievement in secondary schools. As a member of the Cum Laude Society since 1911, University School honors its principles and follows its requirements for student induction. Membership in the University School chapter of Cum Laude is normally limited to seniors who have been in residence at least two consecutive years and who have carried a particularly challenging academic program with honor and distinction. New members are elected annually in the spring based on grades in their sophomore, junior, and senior years.

James Garrett, secretary of the University School chapter of the Cum Laude Society, inducted the following University School seniors into the Society: Scott Bowman, JD Clemens, Herbert Crowther, William Frankel, Grant Friedman, Rohan Garg, Andrew Gilmore, Adam Gurary, Garrett Haffke, Kyle Hartson, Benjamin Hebert, Alex Hoyen, Joshua Hunter, Connor Kucharski, Graham Lane, Ryan O'Malley, Keyvon Rashidi, Neil Sehgal, Rafiq Sitabkhan, Dante Sudilovsky, Adam Tropper, and Brandon Wang.
