Dr. Cordiano is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the emotional, psychological, and behavioral development of children and adolescents. She provides psychotherapy and assessment services to children, teens, and families through her private practice in Beachwood. Dr. Cordiano also serves as a consulting psychologist for Laurel School and is the Director of Research for Laurel's Center for Research on Girls. She contributes regularly to Your Teen Media and enjoys speaking to parents and educators about the challenge and adventure of raising children.
Dr. Cordiano earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Case Western Reserve University, did her clinical internship at Applewood Centers, Inc. in Cleveland, and received a postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology in the Neurodevelopmental Center at Akron Children's Hospital. In addition to her clinical and consulting work, Dr. Cordiano has served as an instructor at John Carroll University, Cleveland State University, and Case Western Reserve University. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Ohio Psychological Association, and the Cleveland Psychological Association. She has served as a board member of the Northeast Ohio Branch of the International Dyslexia Association and is a reviewer for the APA journal Psychology of Aesthetics, Creativity, and the Arts.
