Congratulations on earning a varsity letter!

To order a new jacket
  • Please go to Rube Adler Sporting Goods in Solon (34378 Aurora Rd, Solon, OH 44139; check their website for hours) and try on their sample sizes to find the right size for you. Remember to bring a sweatshirt/sweater to wear underneath if that’s what you think you’ll be wearing often in the winter!
  • Fill out this form for ordering a new jacket. Please note: you will need to choose a jacket based on how many sports you think you will play at US. Your two options are a 1 or 2 sport jacket, or a 3-sport jacket. Keep in mind you may try a new sport at some point!
We place letter jacket orders twice a year. For this round, the ordering due dates is December 13, 2024 and the next will be in May 2025 (exact date TBD). Once orders are placed, jackets take 8-10 weeks to arrive; we expect the jackets to arrive in February. Pick up will be at school, we will contact you when they arrive. 

To update an existing letter jacket
To add an additional sport(s) to the back of your jacket and patches to the letter:
  1. Contact Mr. Gerow in the athletic office (agerow@us.edu) to get your new patches and/or bars
  2. Take your jacket and new patches and bars to Rube Adler Sporting Goods in Solon (34378 Aurora Rd, Solon, OH 44139; check their website for hours) and they will send your jacket out to be updated
To add only patches or bars to the letter on your jacket:
  1. Contact Mr. Gerow in the athletic office (agerow@us.edu) to get your new patches and/or bars
  2. Take your jacket and bars/patches directly to Alterations Express (locations in Mayfield Hts., and Strongsville) for the fastest service.
To order a corduroy jacketPlease visit the online Prep Shop to order one. When you receive it, please connect with Mr. Gerow (agerow@us.edu) to collect your letter, class year, and sport patches. We recommend taking the jacket and patches to Alterations Express and to get the letter (with its patches) sewn on the back and the class year sewn onto the sleeve.
