Sunny Spring Concerts

The Lower School Spring Concert in May, "Creative Connections," celebrated music, visual art, and the boys' theme studies. Directed by Mr. Roether, Jr. K – Grade 4 Music Teacher, the students showcased their rhythm, singing, and movement for the packed auditorium. The Junior Choir, grade-level choirs, and Flying Mallets all had their moment in the spotlight!

At the end of April, the Middle School String Orchestra brought rock & roll to the stage with their performance of “Seven Nation Army” under the direction of Mrs. Abi Dudzik at the Middle School Spring Concert. The Middle School Spring Concert also featured performances by the Jazz Ensemble, Concert Bands, and High Tops Choral Ensemble. The evening came together through the consistent and creative work of the Middle School boys and their Middle School music teachers, Mr. Mike Leone, Mr. Tom Mellino, and Mrs. Dudzik.

The Upper School Spring Concert, titled "Terrae: Of The Earth," featured performances from A Cappella, Glee Club, and the Orchestra. The evening was led by the always entertaining emcee, conductor, and Upper School Director of Music, Mr. Devon Steve ’13, who this year was joined by Mr. Andrew Dyet, Upper School Music Teacher.  

The US Jazz Ensemble performed at The Bop Stop in May. This is an annual US event, though the first for the group under the direction of Mr. Andrew Dyet, Upper School Music Teacher.
