Eighth Grade Graduation
University School celebrates the Class of 2029 at their Eighth Grade Graduation.
The US community gathered to celebrate the Class of 2029 in Conway Hall Auditorium. The event began with a Convocation by Lower School Director Mrs. Lisa Cummings and a warm welcome from Middle School Director Mrs. Lindsay Arnoult.
Student speakers Markus John Strautnieks ’29 and Jason D. Walker Jr. ’29 shared personal reflections on their years at the campus, highlighting memories and lessons learned. The ceremony also featured a musical interlude as Jaidan Shauf-Dressman ’29 performed Beethoven’s Bagatelle in D Major on the piano. The morning evening concluded with the presentation of prizes and diplomas, marking the students' official transition from the Middle School to the Upper School.
