Karan Bahl '28 attended the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Phoenix in May. He received accolades for his project: "FireChain: A Satellite-Driven Deep Learning System for Autonomous Wildfire Response".
Students qualify for ISEF through affiliated regional and state fairs with only 1,700 qualifying each year worldwide. This year, sixty-five countries were represented at ISEF. Karan qualified by placing first in his division at the Northeast Ohio Science and Engineering Fair (NEOSEF).
