Junior Fellows Investigate

Through the Junior Research Fellowship program, individuals or groups of students in grades 5-8 who have a passion for a particular area of study, perform well in the classroom, and demonstrate strong task commitment may pursue high-level research on a chosen topic.

In spring 2026, four Junior Fellows completed their projects and shared them with the Middle School community.

Anush Andi ’31 shared his passion for black holes through a dynamic presentation featuring research, demonstrations, and audience participation.

Noah Miyasaka ’30 designed an original board game, led playtesting sessions, and received feedback from professional game designers.

Simon Bahl Prosak ’30 explored the process and requirements of running for political office.

Holden Wald ’30 examined twentieth-century dictatorships through interviews with people who lived under authoritarian regimes.
