Oedipus on Stage

The Upper School presented Oedipus, Sophocles' timeless tale of the King of Thebes and his search for the truth and his fate it reveals.

Faced with a plague that is ravaging his city, Oedipus searches for a way to save Thebes. When he is told that the plague that curses his people will be lifted if he punishes the murderer of the previous king, Oedipus embarks on an investigation that reveals far more secrets than he wanted to uncover.

With the audience seated on stage, this production had a modern and intimate experience that breathed new life into this classic text.
