Garrett Blum '20 Competes at Intel International Science Fair
Garrett Blum '20 competed at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair. Intel ISEF, a program of Society for Science & the Public, is the world’s largest pre-college science competition. Garrett earned his spot at ISEF by winning the Grand Prize at the Northeast Ohio Science and Engineering Fair this past March. His research, titled "Honeycomb Structures as a Helmet Liner Material: Use of Artificial Neural Network Modeling to Predict Helmet Liner Safety for Known and Experimental Helmet Liner Materials" was done at Team Wendy, a local company of alumnus Dan T. Moore '59.
