Junior Research Fellow, Joshua Rossen '24, held two presentations in STEAMworks. He taught about the basics of global warming, emphasizing the "tipping point," or the point when we won't be able to reverse it. Joshua pointed to our mild winter, the high water levels of the Great Lakes, and the ongoing fires in California as evidence that global warming is a legitimate phenomenon.
Joshua developed an interest in global warming while watching media coverage of the many natural disasters occurring throughout the world. He saw a perfect opportunity to delve deeper into his interest through the Fellows program.
For his project, Joshua consulted with two area professionals: Dr. Eric Schreiber, a retired doctor with a passion for global warming, and Mr. Mark Lefkowitz, the interim director of Green City Blue Lake.
