Two Seniors Inducted into National Science Research Honor Society

Garrett Blum '20 and Ryan Devine '20 represented Ohio at this year’s American Junior Academy of Science, happening concurrently with the gathering of the world’s most accomplished scientists at the annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science in Seattle, Washington.

While at the conference the students were inducted into Sigma Xi, an honor society designed to reward excellence in scientific research and to encourage a sense of companionship and cooperation among scientists in all fields. The boys also heard from Bill Gates, toured the Boeing facilities, visited the Engineering Department at the University of Washington, and networked with top scientists attending the conference.
