Nine upper and middle school students received awards at the virtually-hosted Junior Academy of Science's District Science Day this spring.
Sunay Rastogi ’21 and Cyril Andrews ’22 placed 1st and 2nd in the Microbiology, Cellular and Molecular Biology and Biochemistry category. Abem Fetene ’22 placed 2nd in the Earth & Environmental Science category. Sohum Kapadia ’21 and Nathan Mu ’22 placed 2nd and 3rd in the Biomedical Engineering & Health Sciences category. Vincent Chen ’21 and Harbir Dass ’23 placed 2nd and 3rd in the Engineering Mechanics, Robotics, and Intelligent Machines category. Vishwum Kapadia ‘25 placed 3rd in the Animal & Plant Sciences category.
Vincent Chen ’21 earned the Governor’s Award in Information Science and Technology Research. Alex Devine ‘22, Harbir Dass ‘23, Sohum Kapadia ‘21, and Nathan Mu ’22 earned sponsored awards.
