Abraham Paik '21 was named the The National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) Joseph S. Rumbaugh Historical Oration National Champion! He received this national honor after winning the Western Reserve Society local contest and continued on to win the Ohio Society award.
The Joseph S. Rumbaugh Historical Oration Contest invites all high school students interested in the American Revolution to submit an original oration pertaining to the Revolutionary War and the relationship it bears to America today. Each student’s five-to-six-minute speech is judged based upon composition, delivery, significance, and historical accuracy and relevance.
