118th Annual Sherman Prize Speaking Contest

Brandon Parks '23 won first place for his speech, "A Cold Reality." Evon Gocan '23 received second place for "Black is Beautiful?," and Myles Nowak '23 won third place for "Connecting the Dots." Juniors Cameron Bizjak, Alex Temnorod, and Sachin Singh received honorable mention awards.
 
 
The speeches were judged based on originality, clarity, organization, and quality of delivery. Thank you to this year's judges: Mr. André Gremillet, President & CEO of The Cleveland Orchestra; Mr. Rick Horvitz '71, Chairman of the Board at Moreland Management Company and US Trustee; and Ms. Linda Rohler, retired US teacher.
