Swimming and Diving Team are State Champions
Swimming and Diving won the program's seventh OHSAA Division II State Championship! It was a true team effort that relied on the depth of the roster and the strong relay teams. The team last won the championship in 2019. Congratulations to the entire US Swimming and Diving Team and Coach Brian Perry '89.
Special thanks to team members from the Class of 2022; Ted Applebaum, Will Doerr, Spencer Ernst, Kabir Gulati, Ariel Kantorovich, Josh Makesh, and Karl Wagner.
Spencer Ernst '22, a team co-captain who will be swimming for Babson College next fall, reflected, "US Swimming has had a monumental impact on my life. It has taught me commitment, collaboration, and responsibility. Most importantly, through all the success we have found in my four years, it has taught me to compete with heart and win with humility."
