Teen Accelerate: Student Citizens Make Change Competition
The Young Entrepreneur Institute at University School in conjunction with Cleveland Leadership Center’s Accelerate competition hosted Teen Accelerate: Student Citizens Make Change competition to open the stage to next-generation leaders who have the passion and ideas to make a positive impact.
Anshul Sharma '26 received second place for his pitch Healing Through Harmonies at the competition. His initiative would connect student musicians with senior citizens who are ill to help improve their quality of life through music. Zaid Ashruf '25, Ben Elliot '23, and Matthew McMahon '23 were also selected as finalists in the competition.
In other entrepreneur news, the US Pitch Cup 2023 was held in March. In this annual school competition, students developed an idea for a product or service and pitched their ideas in front of a live-judge panel that selected the following winners:

3rd place: Adriano Cristaldi '24- WrisTech is the personal trainer on your wrist.
