Faculty & Staff Awards

Mrs. Farrell, Middle School English Teacher and FIRST Lego League Robotics Coach, received The Alumni Faculty Fellowship Award, which honors outstanding teachers who have contributed significantly to the quality of the Shaker Campus.

Mr. Jones, Middle School Math Teacher and Middle School Math Department Chair received the Seelbach Faculty Fellowship, given to a teacher on each campus who is generous of spirit, encouraging of all learners, and immersed in school life.

Ms. Newell, Jr.K-8 Math Specialist, received the Lower School Ingersoll Award, given to a teacher on each campus who demonstrates excellence in the early years of his or her career at US.

Mr. Montanye, Middle School Science Teacher, received the Weinberger Award, given to a teacher at the Shaker campus who promotes a maker's philosophy and incorporates opportunities for problem-solving through making into the curriculum.

Mr. Bunce, Biology Teacher and Track Coach, received the Seelbach Faculty Fellowship. This award is given to a teacher on each campus who is generous of spirit, encouraging of all learners, and immersed in school life.

Dr. Yoder, History Teacher and Middle School Basketball Coach, received the Ingersoll Award. This is given to a teacher on each campus who demonstrates excellence in the early years of his or her career at US.

Mr. Neylon, Upper School Chef, received the Cawas "Carl" Kapadia Service Staff Award for his loyal and tireless dedication to University School.
