Welcome Back to School!

The US community is thrilled to welcome students back to school. It was a week full of new beginnings with friends, old and new, that went out like a lion. A strong storm pushed through from the north overnight from Thursday to Friday, and many in the area spent some time in their basements just after midnight as instructed by our trusted northeast Ohio meteorologists.

The Hunting Valley Campus lost power and so was closed, with classes canceled, on just the fourth day of the school year. The Shaker Campus fared better and was open for classes to all students and faculty who could make it there safely. Happily, the Handshake Ceremonies were earlier in the week, and so this time-honored and beloved tradition went off without a hitch on both campuses, under much milder weather conditions.
