Fifteen Upper School students represented University School at The Northeast Ohio Science and Engineering Fair (NEOSEF) in March. Student scientists and researchers presented their science and engineering projects to a series of judges, gaining valuable experience in communicating their ideas to professionals outside of a school setting.
Congratulations to Karan Bahl '28 and Oliver Krishnaney '27 for winning their respective divisions. In addition to the two first-place winners, there were also ten second-place awards, two third-place awards, one honorable mention, and 29 Special Professional Awards.
A special congratulations to Karan Bahl '28 for earning a spot at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair in May in Phoenix. The prestigious event will host roughly 1,800 high school finalists from over 75 countries, regions, and territories, competing for nearly $9 million in awards and scholarships.
