Today, we celebrate the college choices of the 96 members of The Class of 2026. Congratulations to our seniors as they take this next step toward their bright futures.
Highlights of the Class of 2026
The 96 members of the Class of 2026 will attend 60 different colleges and universities across the United States, from California to Maine, Florida to Wisconsin.
40% of the class will attend a “most selective” schools in the country, and 65% will attend a “top 75” college or university (U.S. News and World Report).
10% of the Class of 2026 has committed to becoming collegiate athletes at Division I and Division III schools in basketball, baseball, cross country, football, soccer, squash, swimming, and track and field.
The Class of 2026 will pursue a wide range of majors, from aviation to petroleum engineering and architecture to music performance. The most popular fields of intended study are currently business, computer science, economics, engineering, finance, and pre-med (including biology, kinesiology, neuroscience, and public health sciences).
The class includes: 2 Presidential Scholars Candidates; 4 Melvin Scholars; 4 International Science & Engineering Fair Qualifiers; 1 Regeneron Science Talent Search Scholar; 10 National Merit Finalists and 13 National Merit Commended Students.
