US Opens up Season with Loss at Memorial

After being down five runs for most of the game, the team rallied with a big six run, sixth inning.  Key hits were by Tyler Hess, Andrew Pokorny, and Gabe Hansen.  The team showed heads-up base running and a critical run was scored be “birthday boy” Robert Sherman.  Solid pitching was provided by Josh Brower, DeAndre Austin, Andrew Pokorny, and Ryan Jones and the rest of the team played great defense behind them.  The team ran out of time and came up short, losing 8-6.  We take on chief rival Shaker Hts. today at 4:00 hope to see you there.
