Twelve Upper School students and six Middle School students competed at the Northeast Ohio Science and Engineering Fair at John Carroll University.
At the Upper School, taking home a blue ribbon in their respective categories were Adam Tropper ’17, Alex Hoyen ’17, George Nageeb ’18 and Bryan Rego ’19.
Uzo Ahn ’18, Anish Ganesh ’19, Michael Castellanos ’19, Rahul Jagetia ’18, Graham Lane ’17, Daniel Ryan ’18 and Ashwin Veeramani ’18 earned second-place finishes. Josh Hunter ’17 earned a third-place finish.
George Nageeb, Rahul Jagetia, Anish Ganesh, Josh Hunter, Adam Tropper, Graham Lane, Michael Castellanos and Bryan Rego also won several special recognition awards and cash prizes in recognition of their excellent scientific achievement.
At the Middle School, Sohum Kapadia '21, Alex Kmetko '22 and Ian Swain '21 earned second-place honors; Nathan Mu '22 and Correy Zemon '21 earned third-place honors; and Evan Rowland-Seymour '22 earned Honorable Mention. Alex Kmetko also received special recognition from The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
