Junior Fellow Researches History of Tommy Johns Surgery

Junior Research Fellow Aaron Moss ‘25 presented his research project, entitled "Tommy John Surgery", to middle school peers. In this presentation, he shared the origins and details of a Tommy John Surgery, a procedure in which a ligament in the inner elbow is replaced with a tendon from another part of the body.
In preparation for this project, Aaron interviewed several experts in the field including, Dr. Patrick O'Keefe, a radiologist at the Cleveland Clinic, Michael Rogers, a member of the Ashland University baseball team, and Aaron Brandt, Hawken School's varsity baseball coach.
