Parade the Circle, one of Cleveland’s most impactful cultural events, is an annual art parade that fills Wade Oval with lively sounds and colors, featuring innovative costumes, giant puppets, and handmade masks created by artists, families, schools, and community groups. The theme of this year's parade was transformation and featured the dragonfly as a symbol of strength, joy, creativity, and happiness.
Under the direction of Lower School Art Teacher Mr. David Barresi, Shaker Campus boys and their families worked for several weeks creating beautiful giant puppets and costumes to march in the parade. Mr. Barresi hopes to get more families from both campuses involved next year.
